Last weekend, Munich hosted the INTERFORST international forestry trade fair, which brought together leading global manufacturers of forestry machinery and equipment. The exhibition covered an area of more than 1,000 m², and among the most prominent exhibitors was PALFINGER EPSILON, presenting a range of innovations that mark a new era of digitalization in forestry.
EPSILON presented the PALFINGER NEXCELLENCE program at the fair, marking the company’s entry into a new generation of log handling cranes – the digital era. Particularly notable were the first fully functional prototypes of smart control systems – Smart Control and Virtual Drive – which provide users with new levels of precision and efficiency in operation.
New crane models from the Q and S series were also presented, characterized by:
- a reach of up to 11 meters
- a 10% lower weight compared to cranes of the same class
- up to 15% faster operation compared to previous EPSILON models
These innovations confirm PALFINGER EPSILON as a technological leader in the forestry crane sector.
