The PALFINGER MARINE department is proud to have participated in equipping the world’s largest cruise ship – Harmony of the Seas – with one of its premium crane models.

This impressive vessel, built at the STX France shipyard in St. Nazaire, is 362.10 meters long, features a total of 18 decks, and has a capacity for 6,780 guests. Installed at the very center of the top deck is the Palfinger PK 150002 M crane, which boasts a reach of 27 meters and quality further confirmed by an international DNV certificate.

The crane is designed for transporting cargo between higher and lower decks, contributing to the ship’s functionality and safety during daily operations.

Satisfaction with this project has been confirmed by an additional order – an identical crane will be delivered for the next ship of the same class, also being built at the STX shipyard.
