FOPS and ROPS cabin protection is a new addition to the Palfinger BH product range, developed to increase safety when operating in extreme conditions. This structure provides the driver with protection against falling objects (FOPS) and protection in the event of a vehicle rollover (ROPS).

The protection is completely independent of the vehicle cabin and is fixed directly to the chassis. It can be installed on various types of trucks – tractors, tippers, and other specialized vehicles – making it an ideal solution for work in mines, on construction sites, and in all environments where additional safety is required.

The FR01 model is compatible with cabins that meet the ECE R29 standard, requiring no additional certifications during installation. The FOPS and ROPS protection is manufactured in accordance with the following international standards:

• ISO 3449:2005 – Protection against falling objects
• ISO 3471:2008 – Rollover protection
• 2006/42/EC – Machinery Directive

The protection holds an attestation from an authorized certification body, further confirming its safety and quality.
