New forestry vehicle and trailer for SŠ Brijest from Cazin

The Forestry Management Company Brijest from Cazin has renewed its equipment fleet with the delivery of a new forestry vehicle equipped with a Palfinger Epsilon M120Z96 crane and a forestry platform with a segmented floor, mounted on a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3351AA 6×6 vehicle.

The Palfinger Epsilon M120Z96 crane has a reach of 9.6 meters and is equipped with the Comfort Package, including an electrical control box mounted at the crane base. The crane is also supplied with an Epsilon FG53 grapple for log handling, with a capacity of 0.50 m². The platform on which the crane is mounted has a loading length of 6,300 mm and is made of chequered steel plate in segments, additionally reinforced with transverse ribs on the underside. The rear lights are protected by galvanized protective housings, and the vehicle is also equipped with two aluminium tool boxes as well as side underrun protection painted in the same colour as the cab.

In addition, a two-axle forestry trailer PSM 240-7.0 for log transport has been delivered with the truck, featuring a loading area length of 7,000 mm. The trailer floor is also made of segmented chequered steel plate and is equipped with ExTe steel stakes type 144, each with a load capacity of 7 tonnes.

This modern vehicle and trailer combination significantly improves efficiency and safety in forestry operations and contributes to the further development of SŠ Brijest’s operational capacity.
