JP Elektroprivreda HZ HB d.d. Mostar has strengthened its vehicle fleet with a new vehicle equipped with a Palfinger PK18500 crane and a 4,200 mm cargo body with an integrated rotating support for transporting poles. The superstructure is mounted on a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 1833 4×4 off-road vehicle, ensuring reliable operation even in the most demanding field conditions.
The PK18500 crane is equipped with a triple hydraulic extension type B, with a maximum reach of 10.3 meters, and is mounted behind the vehicle cab. The 4200 × 2480 × 600 mm cargo body is made with anodized aluminium side panels, divided into two segments for easier handling. Inside the body there is a rotating support designed for the safe transport of poles.
A single-axle pole transport trailer has also been delivered with the truck, equipped with height-adjustable telescopic supports. The trailer chassis is made of I-sections from fine-grained micro-alloyed steel, with a torsion-resistant structure under the turntable, ensuring long-lasting and stable operation.
JP Elektroprivreda HZ HB d.d. Mostar was established on 28 August 1992 and today operates across 35 municipalities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company manages 12,572 kilometres of distribution network across different voltage levels (0.4 kV, 10 kV, 20 kV and 35 kV), as well as a total of 3,697 substations, with an installed capacity of 96.6 MVA at the 35/10(20) kV level and 1,104.8 MVA at the 10(20)/0.4 kV level. It supplies electricity to around 190,000 end customers.
By decision of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, JP Elektroprivreda HZ HB holds the status of a public supplier, with the obligation to provide public, universal, and reserve service to end customers within its service area.
