PALFINGER PLATFORMS AT THE SERVICE OF CLEANING THE LOUIS VUITTON MUSEUM

Three PALFINGER access platform models – the Jumbo class WT 350, Premium class WT 370, and Top class P900 – were utilized for cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, an architectural masterpiece crafted from glass and steel.

Due to the complex and futuristic construction of the building, the work required platforms capable of reaching great heights while providing exceptional precision and flexibility, all while preventing any potential damage to the delicate facade. All three models are equipped with special sensors in the work basket that signal proximity to the facade, thereby reducing the risk of collision and damage.

The WT 350 was positioned on a concrete base in the upper part of the complex and used for cleaning roof surfaces.
The WT 370 was responsible for lower glass sections.
The P900 handled tasks on the highest parts of the structure.
The mobility of these platforms around the entire site allowed tasks to be completed efficiently with minimal impact on the museum’s daily operations.

A particular challenge was performing the work at night – PALFINGER technology enabled all operations to be carried out quietly, meeting one of the project’s key requirements.

The Louis Vuitton project management expressed great satisfaction with the efficiency and safety of PALFINGER’s solutions, once again confirming the brand’s reputation as a reliable partner for the most demanding tasks.
