Palfinger Platforms Italy has introduced a new access platform model – the P130A, the first in a new series of the Smart class designed for pick-up vehicles. The platform offers a working height of 13 meters and a lateral outreach of up to 6.30 meters, with a dead weight of only 3,200 kg, making it an ideal solution for off-road and utility work in urban and inaccessible areas.

The P130A model is mounted on a Ford Ranger 2.2 TDI, while availability for other vehicle brands is expected in the near future. This platform is the first in a series, with three more new models from the same range announced by the end of the year.

Like other platforms in the Smart class, the P130A is characterized by a compact and ergonomic design, a low center of gravity that provides excellent stability and maneuverability, and high operational flexibility, both on the road and in demanding work environments.
