Palfinger, one of the leading global equipment manufacturers, has delivered a wheelchair ramp, which was installed on a vehicle intended for the transport of persons with disabilities.

On the vehicle Opel Vivaro Combi L2H1 2.0, a Palfinger RTP35 HI-HF loading ramp was installed. The ramp is compact, takes up minimal space in the vehicle when folded, and is designed for modern, heavier, and wider wheelchairs. It features a high-quality steel platform with an anti-slip surface, while the mesh structure allows for better visibility through the rear doors.

Handrails without sharp edges have been extended from 65% to 88% of the total length, significantly increasing passenger safety. Although they provide greater safety, they are foldable and do not take up additional space. Operating the ramp is simple via a handheld remote control.

The vehicle is additionally equipped with a new floor with integrated rails and belts for the secure fastening of wheelchairs. This configuration enables functional and safe transport of users in daily activities, especially in urban areas.

This project represents a significant contribution to improving mobility and the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society.
