Palfinger Mounting Competence Center (MCC) – combining a top-tier crane and a truck into a single functional unit

Through the work of the Mounting Competence Center (MCC), the Palfinger crane and truck become a perfectly synchronized unit. Over the past few years, more than 800 truck bodies with Palfinger cranes have been delivered to satisfied customers worldwide.

The main goal of the MCC center is to provide technical support to Palfinger dealers globally, with an emphasis on mounting large and technically demanding cranes.

The first MCC center was opened in Lengau, Austria, and features 13 assembly bays. Due to growing demand, a second MCC center was opened in Poland in 2020, boasting as many as 24 assembly bays, which increased the annual capacity from 150 to over 500 truck bodies per year.

PALDRIVE – ready-for-delivery vehicles

In parallel with the development of the MCC center, Palfinger also launched the PALDRIVE project – a concept of stock vehicles available for immediate delivery.

The PALDRIVE range includes:

• new vehicles,
• demo and training units,
• specialized bodies for the most in-demand market applications.

All bodies are carefully configured and ready for operation immediately upon delivery.
