Two three-way tippers for KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija Sarajevo d.o.o.

Two TK 10 three-way tippers with internal dimensions of 3000 x 2000 x 400 mm were delivered to the company KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija Sarajevo d.o.o., which handles water production and distribution, as well as wastewater drainage and treatment. The tippers are powered by an electro-hydraulic unit and mounted on Iveco Daily 35S11 vehicles with double cabs and a wheelbase of 3,750 mm.

It is interesting to note that the first water supply system in Sarajevo was built by Isa-beg Ishaković back in 1461. The city was renowned as a “city of fountains,” and the water systems were gravity-fed, constructed from clay and wooden pipes. Toward the end of Ottoman rule, Sarajevo had 156 public fountains and 68 different water supply lines totaling 55 kilometers in length.

Today, the water supply system serves approximately 400,000 residents of Sarajevo, with the primary resources being underground accumulations in the Sarajevo Field area, which provide 90% of the total water volume.

The new vehicles will assist the company in continuing to perform its tasks efficiently, ensuring that Sarajevo remains known for its fountains and clean spring water.
