The Railways of Republika Srpska have received a Palfinger P130A aerial work platform, mounted on a Ford Ranger 4×4 chassis. This is an exceptionally maneuverable and practical vehicle, adapted for work in inaccessible terrain, making it an ideal solution for interventions on railway infrastructure.
The platform enables a working height of up to 13 meters and a lateral reach of up to 6.3 meters, with a maximum load capacity of 250 kilograms, which corresponds to the weight of two operators with tools. The vehicle falls under category B, and the platform operation is fully hydraulic, which further simplifies use and maintenance.
The Railways of Republika Srpska (ŽRS) were established in 1992. with headquarters in Banja Luka, while since 1996 the company’s headquarters have been located in Doboj. ŽRS is engaged in public passenger and freight transport and the management of railway infrastructure in the territory of Republika Srpska. The company operates as a joint-stock company, with the capital structure including the stock fund, pension fund, restitution fund, and private investors.
