Palfinger, a leading global manufacturer of hydraulic truck-mounted cranes, has introduced a new model from its advanced TEC series – the PK 135.002 TEC 7. This crane delivers an outstanding weight-to-performance ratio thanks to its advanced P-Profile design, which reduces weight by up to 2,000 kg compared to the previous PK 150.002 model, while increasing performance by 35% when combined with a fly-jib.
The crane is multifunctional – ideal for handling heavy loads, precision operations, container work, roof installations, and any application requiring exceptional reach.
The PK 135.002 TEC7 model can be mounted on:
- a 4-axle vehicle with a gross weight of 32 t, with a remaining payload capacity of 2,500 to 3,000 kg
- a 5-axle vehicle with a gross weight of 40 t, with a remaining payload capacity of around 8,000 kg.
For these configurations, no special permit for abnormal transport is required.
It is equipped with the latest PALFINGER technologies:
- MEXT – enables monitoring and integration of mechanical extensions into the safety system.
- TOOL – supports the use of various additional tools.
- WEIGH – measures the load weight directly on the remote control.
In addition, proven options are also available:
- P-Fold – folding and unfolding the crane with a single push
- DPS-C – increases lifting power on the fly-jib depending on the load weight
- HPSC-Plus GEOM – dynamic stability calculation based on load weight and outrigger position
The PK 135.002 TEC7 made its debut at the Transport Swiss trade fair in Bern and at the Solutrans trade fair in Lyon at the end of 2017, where it impressed the audience with its technical excellence and versatility.
