Special fire-fighting vehicle with a Palfinger P200A work platform for the Municipality of Rogatica

The Territorial Fire and Rescue Unit of the Municipality of Rogatica has taken delivery of a specialized fire-fighting vehicle equipped with a Palfinger P200A work platform, mounted on an Iveco Daily 70C16H 3.0 vehicle. The platform provides a working height of up to 19.7 meters and a lateral reach of 8.4 meters, enabling efficient operations during high-altitude interventions.

The basket is made of aluminium, with a load capacity of up to 250 kg, and fully hydraulic control. The vehicle is equipped with manual controls and an emergency pump, as well as additional equipment including a tool box, start/stop controls from the basket, water and air connections, and 12V and 230V sockets.

In addition to the standard technical equipment, the vehicle is also equipped with a water spraying system, WEBER fire-fighting equipment, a Halligan tool set, and a KENWOOD radio station, making it fully prepared for the most demanding fire-fighting and high-altitude rescue operations.

With the procurement of this vehicle, the implementation of the cross-border cooperation project “Improving Fire Protection System Management in the Cross-Border Area of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia” for Tara National Park has been completed.

The Municipality of Rogatica is located in the eastern part of the entity Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the 2013 census, it has 11,603 inhabitants and covers an area of 644 km².
